Designer : To be or not to be

All of us are a main character in our Story Of Life. People like me (an average introvert who will definitely over think before speaking about anything) never like to talk about what is happening in their life -or maybe nothing is happening at all.  However, these three years after passing out from school have been a rollercoaster for me, where I don't pay for the ticket, but I experience everything that happens during the ride.  And let me be honest, this is just the beginning.  School was good, but I was never actually interested in those subjects. Talking about science and maths, I was into none of them. It was like an unsuccessful arranged marriage.  Something that I was genuinely interested in was Art. An external affair I had during school.  School ka rishta humne acche se nibhaya, par dil me jagah Art ne le li thi. And that was a start to a journey as an Artist. People must be wondering why my Blog is titled  as "Designer : To be or not to be".  Well, I am studying in a Design college and will be getting a degree for it. However,  I would love to let people know how the world of Design works adding the fact that drawing ≠ design . What is Design?  Is it just designing beautiful clothes, aesthetic interiors and catchy websites?  It is more than that.  Design has been recognised as a creative kitchen counter that can produce tons of unique and exquisite recipes for the world to relish them and satisfy its taste buds of development. Designers are the chefs who mix and match different ingredients such as intellect, design sense, technicalities and general knowledge. And then, the recipe ends with a final garnish of " form follows function and function follows form ".
